The Open Education Research Hub (OER Hub) are leaders in researching the impact of open educational resources (OER) on teaching and learning practices. Our aim is to raise the quality and profile of research in this field. OER Hub has three key objectives:

  • Building capacity in the OER research domain
  • Conducting research into open education and OER
  • Producing resources for the open education research community

About OER Hub

The OER Hub is situated in the Institute of Educational Technology (IET), at The Open University (OU) in the UK. Both IET and the OU have built global reputations through a long history with open education, making this an ideal home for the OER Hub.

We are always looking for partners and projects to work with. We use agile ways of working and strive to be flexible in how we work with collaborators to meet their needs. This means there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to working with us and the best way to proceed is usually to get in touch and go from there.
